BEC AWARDED CONTRACT FOR ENTIRE SOUTHERN SYDNEY

Thousands of businesses across Southern Sydney region will now have access to more intensive small business support and training services with the rollout of the NSW Government’s new ‘Small Biz Connect’ Program.

The Business Enterprise Centre Southern Sydney (BEC) are proud to announce the retention of St George and Sutherland Shire as well as an expansion of their services into Canterbury and Bankstown as program providers of ‘Small Biz Connect’, with over 67,500 local businesses standing to benefit from additional support.

As the media industry struggles to find its feet in a state of flux, one enterprising media expert has found a niche amongst the confusion.

While newspaper staffs were being cut around her, Caringbah business owner Joanne Ryan started her own communications company catering to small to medium enterprises, Infodec Communications.

“I had worked in the media industry for most of my career at News Ltd, across the areas of editorial, marketing, and government relations,” Joanne said.
