Say I Do Weddings Cluster
“Say I Do Weddings” is a marriage of Southern Sydney Bridal Experts. What started out as an informal lunch to introduce the ladies to each other back in October 2011 has now grown into an innovative Business Cluster initiative by the BEC. From the personal trainer to help clients get “wedding dress ready”, through to the celebrant, caterer, venue, and hens night entertainment, this cluster covers all the important wedding essentials.
“Say I Do Weddings” aims to be a unique one-stop-shop for Southern Sydney Brides or Grooms to find absolutely everything they need for their big day, as well as all the pre- and post-wedding fun. “Say I Do Weddings” is a collection of wedding specialists who work together to effortlessly create our clients’ perfect day.
Our wedding cluster members are selected for being top quality team players, and we get to know each others’ businesses intimately in order to market all cluster members in a co-op style arrangement. There’s also a “Say I Do Weddings” Facebook pagewhere our cluster members can catch up online to float ideas with the group.
The modest annual membership paid to be part of “Say I Do Weddings” goes into a pool of money that the group collectively decide how to spend during their quarterly meetings facilitated by Business Advisor Jacqui Attard.

Designer Fashion Markets® – Fashion Industry Supply Chain
The BEC Southern Sydney is the lead organisation behind a successful Fashion Industry Supply Chain, bringing together a collection of local fashion and related businesses in Southern Sydney.
We run regular Designer Fashion Markets® (DFM) as casual pop-up markets within major shopping centres across Sydney. Showcasing the growing number of talented young designers wanting to exhibit their stylish offerings, DFM brings together a sophisticated mix of local designer shoes, bags, accessories and, of course, fashion for women and children.
This supply chain also forms the basis of our comprehensive fashion-specific training as we continue to find ways to support and promote Australian-made or designed fashion products. With over 20 active designers, nearly 3000 fans on Facebook, and a further 230 designers on our database, our Fashion Industry Supply Chain builds the profile of quality local designers and related businesses, promoting sales opportunities and providing fantastic exposure for new talent.
